The NEW Passage to India Slow Cook Range!

You asked for it and Passage Foods listened… Introducing the NEW Passage to India Slow Cook simmer sauces!

They've taken their classic Butter Chicken and Korma recipes and designed them as slow cook sauces in larger packs to feed the whole family (or to have extra leftovers!).

These are a perfect meal solution for those that have more time up their sleeves for cooking and want to wipe off the dust from their slow cooker. If you don’t have a slow cooker, don’t worry, we’ve also provided you with cooking instructions for the oven. All you need to do is add meat or vegetables and cook up some basmati rice to serve.

Why slow cooking?

As a result of the long, low-temperature cooking, slow cooking helps to tenderise meats and bring out the full flavour in the food you eat. There’s really no reason why your slow cooker shouldn’t be your favourite kitchen appliance, just follow these rules to ensure you get the most out of your slow cooker:

1. Stop peeking! We know it smells delicious, but too much peeking can reduce the temperature inside the slow cooker, and increase the time needed for your dish to finish cooking.

2. Don’t cook frozen food. This will increase the time it takes to reach a safe temperature, meaning your food will spend longer than it should at temperatures that are less than safe, which can lead to food poisoning.

3. Don’t add your fresh herbs too early. We love fresh herbs for that additional flavour, but make sure you toss them in towards the end of the cooking time, so they’re still fresh and full of flavour when you serve up your plates at the dinner table.

We can’t wait for you to try these new Slow Cook sauces. Find them online through AusPantry.com.

Happy slow cooking!
